Architectural technologist, requires a broader range of skills. Technologist are more involved in the design and construction process and in contract management. As an architectural technologist, you have more responsibility, you may work in your own private practice providing building design services to the public. Architectural technologist also carry signing authority on most construction documents, contracts and reports. An Accredited Architectural Technologist who carries his own insurance may be in private practice.
